The challenge of Ducasse Sur Seine was a major one: the construction of a pavilion on the water on which two captains, and a crew of about fifty cooks, pastry chefs and sommeliers work in unison to offer this fine dining experience of a true gourmet cruise on the Seine. Working with steel and glass as a uniform ensemble, the designers generated an extremely transparent volume, generous in light and views.

The pleasures of the dining table are matched by those of the city: through the large bay windows, Paris and the river roll by as if on a movie screen while inside, it is possible to experience the French haute cuisine.

This floating restaurant is a union of elegance and hospitality: the story unfolds in several acts as the surprise of the secret port opposite the Eiffel Tower, the excitement of boarding for an uncommon cruise and the sensation of sliding along the water. Once seated, the curious gourmet takes in the visual pleasures of the river banks and the monuments of Paris.

The floating restaurant is divided into the main level and a terrace. The light is very important to this luxury restaurant because it adds a fundamental dimension to the interiors and the skeleton with multiple glass tiles induces a reflection on the dynamic transparency of the construction.

Like the original guinguette, the new building has a single space that seine design deliberately organized. Everything was thought according to the scenic setting, which was the focus of the project. Therefore, an opening was added behind the luxury bar, which adds enchantment and depth to the perspective.
