Working with a difficult corner lot and an upper floor location, Vgz Arquitectura y Diseño were tasked with many challenges when it came time to design the Piedra Sal, a modern restaurant in Mexico City. Modern Dining Tables is here to show you the amazing dining design of this restaurant!
With an all wooden facade, the building has a very rustic exterior look.
They had a tight budget and time line to complete the project but still managed to custom design everything, like the liana ceiling with a “Partridge Eye” ceiling pattern and the concrete floor in shades of grey. It gives a jungle vibe, very natural, keeping a modern design.
It was designed to be a place for fine dining. The dining tables are simple and contemporary, made of wood to follow the same line of the outdoor design. With trees growing inside the dining area, you get a cosy an unique atmosphere where you might feel in a different place from the rest of the surrounding world. It was chosen a monochromatic color scheme that includes varying greys and wood with black accents.

This became the fanciest place for eating out in Mexico City. With a modern and elegant exclusive design and a cosy and unique vibe, this restaurant might be the ultimate place for a night out.
